1. Who we are

This website is operated by ScaleCodex, a software development company based in Brazil. For the purposes of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Lei 13.709/2018), ScaleCodex is the controller of the personal data described on this page.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers scalecodex.vercel.app — the site you are reading now.

It does not cover our mobile applications. Mais Gestão, Bíblia — Estude Mais and Aprova Cartões each have their own privacy policy, linked from the project pages, because each handles different data.

3. What we collect

Browsing this site requires no account and no registration. We collect personal data in one situation only: when you choose to send us a message through the contact form.

• Name — so we know who we are replying to.
• Email address — so we can reply.
• Phone or WhatsApp number — optional, and only if you type it.
• Project type — the option you select from the list.
• Your message — whatever you write in the text field.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or profiling of any kind on this site. We do not buy, sell or enrich data about visitors.

4. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

The data from the contact form is used for a single purpose: to read your message and reply to it, and to continue that conversation if it leads somewhere.

The legal basis is the preliminary steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (LGPD, art. 7, V). You started the contact; we are answering it. If a commercial relationship follows, the basis becomes performance of the contract.

We will not use your message to send marketing you did not ask for.

5. Who else touches the data

We keep the list of third parties as short as the site allows. Each of these acts as an operator on our behalf:

• Vercel Inc. — hosts the site and runs the function that receives the form. Vercel records standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and operational purposes.
• Resend — delivers the contact message to our inbox as an email.
• Google Fonts — serves the typeface used on the site. Requesting a font reveals your IP address to Google.

We do not share the content of your message with anyone else, and we do not transfer it to third parties for their own purposes.

6. How long we keep it

Your message arrives as an email and stays in our inbox as long as it is useful to the conversation, and afterwards for as long as we may need it as a record of a commercial contact — up to five years.

You can ask us to delete it sooner. Unless we are legally required to keep something, we will.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD you may ask us, at any time, to:

• confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and see it;
• correct anything incomplete, inaccurate or out of date;
• delete data processed on the basis of consent, or data that is unnecessary or excessive;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• know with whom we have shared it;
• object to a particular use, or withdraw consent where consent was the basis.

Write to sidneydasilva537@gmail.com. We reply within 15 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first — we would rather be careful than hand your data to someone else.

8. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies.

It stores exactly one value in your browser local storage: scalecodex:idioma, which remembers whether you chose Portuguese, English or Spanish. It never leaves your browser, it identifies nobody, and clearing your browser data removes it.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The contact form validates and limits what it accepts, discards submissions caught by an anti-spam field, and the credentials for sending email are held as environment variables, never in the source code.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever occurs that could put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the ANPD as the law requires.

10. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

When the site changes in a way that affects this policy, we update the page and the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site itself.
